  • 4 cups baby potatoes, washed and halved or quartered

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-certified)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash baby potatoes and cut into halves or quarters.
  2. In a large bowl, combine potatoes and sliced smoked sausage. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Spread the mixture in a single layer onto a large baking sheet. Roast for 25-30 minutes, until potatoes begin to soften and brown.
  4. Remove from oven, stir the mixture, and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown.
