- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional) (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Roll out the sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
- In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each puff pastry rectangle.
- Place a spoonful of shredded cheese at one end of each rectangle and roll them up into logs.
- Twist the logs into a spiral shape and place them upright in the muffin tin.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and flaking nicely.
- Allow to cool slightly, then brush with additional garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve warm.
