- 8 large croissants
- 10 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped
- 6 tablespoons green onion, finely sliced
- 4 tablespoons milk
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: red chili flakes or hot sauce for a kick
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the tops of the croissants and gently hollow out some of the insides to create space for the filling.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in chopped bacon, green onion, and most of the shredded cheese (reserve a little for topping).
- Spoon the mixture evenly into the hollowed croissants.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and add a touch of chili flakes if using.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the egg is set and the croissants are golden and crisp.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra green onion or your favorite sauce.
