- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the beef broth, diced potatoes, carrots, and celery.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
