Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut into halves
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 12 small patties, slightly larger than the Hawaiian rolls.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Place the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Top each patty with a half-slice of cheddar cheese.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter and Worcestershire sauce.
- Brush the tops of the sliders with the butter mixture.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
- Place the sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are lightly toasted.
- Serve your cheeseburger sliders on Hawaiian rolls warm.
