Cheese-Stuffed Meatloaf with gooey mozzarella or cheddar in every slice.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1½ cups shredded or block mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined.
- On the lined sheet, form half the meat mixture into a loaf shape. Press a trench into the center and fill it with cheese. Cover with the remaining meat and seal edges to fully enclose the cheese.
- Stir together glaze ingredients and spread over the top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use sharp cheddar for a stronger flavor.
- Let the meatloaf rest for even slicing.
