Ingredients

  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 16 oz cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 6 oz ham or turkey, diced
  • 1/3 cup chives, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly dust the parchment paper with flour to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, shredded cheddar, whisked eggs, diced ham or turkey, and chopped chives. Stir thoroughly.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until the dough starts to come together, then knead briefly to form a large dough ball.
  5. Place the dough ball onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten it into a roughly 7 by 10 inch rectangle.
  6. Cut the dough into 12 equal-sized biscuits. Space them evenly on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake the biscuits for 22 to 25 minutes until the tops are lightly golden and the bottoms are a deep golden brown.
  8. Remove the biscuits from the oven and allow them to cool slightly on the baking sheet. Serve warm.
