Description
This tasty baked chicken recipe is so good. Everything from the cheese to the cornflakes, breadcrumbs, and garlic offer so much wonderful flavor.

- ½ C. Breadcrumbs
- 6 Boneless skinless chicken breasts all roughly the same size
- 1 Tbsp. Milk
- 1 C. Cheddar cheese shredded
- ¼ C. Butter divided
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 C. Flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 C. Corn flakes crushed into crumbs
- 1 tsp. Black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter, and use it to grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs well.
- In a separate shallow bowl or plate, mix together the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, flour, corn flakes and salt and pepper until well combined.
- Dip the chicken into the egg mixture first, and then coat in the crumb mixture.
- Place into the prepared casserole dish and top with pieces of the remaining butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
