Description
Delightfully rich and creamy Caramilk Biscuit Truffles combine crushed biscuits, melted Caramilk chocolate, butter, and condensed milk.
Ingredients
Scale
- 250g plain biscuits
- 50g butter
- 2 blocks Caramilk chocolate (180g each)
- 1 can condensed milk (395g)
- Desiccated coconut (for rolling)
- Chopped nuts (for rolling)
- Sprinkles (for rolling)
- Melted chocolate (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (to thin melted chocolate)
Instructions
- Use a food processor to crush the plain biscuits into fine crumbs.
- In a large glass bowl, melt the butter, then add the broken pieces of Caramilk chocolate. Heat in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir in the condensed milk and crushed biscuits into the melted chocolate and butter mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop some mixture and roll it between your hands to form small balls.
- Roll each ball in your chosen toppings such as desiccated coconut, chopped nuts, or sprinkles. Place them on a lined baking tray to cool and set.
- For an extra indulgent finish, make slightly smaller balls and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm. Melt additional chocolate with a teaspoon of coconut oil to thin it. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate and return to the tray to set.
- Store finished truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
