Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 oz) can butter beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz) can baked beans
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a casserole dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, bacon, kidney beans, butter beans, baked beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and slightly caramelized.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.
