- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can butter beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz) can baked beans
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a casserole dish.
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, bacon, kidney beans, butter beans, baked beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and slightly caramelized.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.
