- 115g unsalted butter
- 100g granulated sugar
- 50g brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 65g all-purpose flour
- 20g cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate chips and butter together until smooth, then let it cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until pale and thick.
- Stir in the melted chocolate-butter mixture and vanilla extract.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold into the wet ingredients.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until crackled on top but soft in the center.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
