- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 units eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
- 1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz)
- 1/4 cup milk of choice (at room temperature)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp brown sugar (light or dark)
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 6 tbsp salted butter (at room temperature)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat until golden and fragrant.
- Prepare the streusel topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and butter until crumbly.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Combine the browned butter with sugars, add eggs and vanilla, then mix until smooth.
- Mix in pumpkin puree and milk until smooth.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently.
- Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle streusel topping on top.
- Bake for 70-80 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan, then completely before slicing.
