Instructions
- Place the butter for the brownie batter in a saucepan and melt it. Add the chocolate chips to a mixing bowl, then pour the melted butter over them and stir until the chips are completely melted and smooth.
- Mix in the cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until the batter is thick and well combined.
- Gently fold in the flour and salt until the brownie batter is smooth. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a separate saucepan, melt the butter for the cookie dough until it turns golden brown and nutty.
- Pour the browned butter into a mixing bowl and stir in the white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until combined.
- Add the eggs and mix until smooth and glossy.
- Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, folding until a thick dough forms.
- Stir in the chopped chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top of the brownie layer.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the two batters together for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Let cool completely, then cut into squares and serve.
