Description
Delight in the nostalgic charm of vibrant Broken Glass Jello, a colorful dessert perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 flavors jello (Choose bright, fruity flavors)
- 4 cups boiling water (Essential for dissolving the jello)
- 3 tablespoons gelatin powder (Provides firmness to the jello)
- 1/4 cup cold water (Used to dissolve the gelatin)
- 1 cup hot water (Combines the gelatin mixture with condensed milk)
- 1 14 oz can condensed milk (Adds a rich and creamy flavor)
Instructions
- Start by boiling 4 cups of water. In separate bowls, mix each flavor of jello with the boiling water according to package instructions, stirring until fully dissolved. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of gelatin powder with 1/4 cup of cold water. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until it swells and turns gelatinous.
- In another bowl, blend the bloomed gelatin with 1 cup of hot water and 1 can of condensed milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Pour a layer of one flavored jello into molds first. Let it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes until partially set. Then, add a layer of the creamy mixture, followed by the next jello. Repeat this process.
- Once layered, refrigerate the molds for at least 4 hours or until the jello is fully set.
