Sweet, Nutty, and Perfectly Poppable Party Appetizer
Ingredients

- 1 package (15 count) mini phyllo shells
- 6 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp bourbon
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
- Place a cube of brie into each shell.
- In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add pecans, brown sugar, bourbon, and salt. Stir until bubbly and slightly thickened, about 2–3 minutes.
- Spoon the pecan mixture over the brie in each shell.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until brie is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Optional: finish with a light drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
