  • 1 pre-made pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 pickle, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lettuce, shredded (optional)
  • Sesame seed burger buns (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pre-made pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over the top.
  4. Place the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet and pre-bake for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stir in the diced onions with the cooked ground beef and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove the pre-baked crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly over it.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce, followed by the cheddar cheese.
  9. Evenly distribute the ground beef and onion mixture over the cheese.
  10. Place the sliced pickles on top of the beef.
  11. Drizzle mustard and ketchup over the toppings as desired.
  12. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  13. Allow the pizza to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  14. If desired, top with shredded lettuce before serving.
