Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or damaged berries.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and orange juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Add the cranberries and orange zest to the saucepan. Return to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in the cinnamon and remove from heat. Let cool before serving.
