Ingredients

- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and let it simmer uncovered for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Taste and adjust seasoning or sweetness as needed.
- Let cool slightly before using or storing.

- This sauce is great for ribs, pulled pork, chicken, or as a dipping sauce.
