Description
Easy baked ham recipe without pineapple. This dish is comforting and perfect for gatherings.

- 7 to 10 pound ham (bone-in cured or smoked ham)
- ½ cup brown sugar (tightly packed)
- ⅓ cup Dijon mustard
- 1 orange (cut into 6 sections; additional may be sliced for a garnish)
- 12 ounces Coca-Cola
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and place a rack in the lower third of the oven.
- Remove the ham from its packaging and pat it dry with paper towels. Place it cut-side down on a plate.
- Using a sharp knife, lightly scour the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, cutting about ¼ inch deep.
- Add the Dijon mustard and brown sugar to a small mixing bowl.
- Mix the brown sugar and Dijon mustard together until the sugar dissolves.
- Using a spatula or gloved hands, rub the glaze into the scoured ham.
- Add the Coca-Cola and oranges to the bottom of the roasting pan.
- Place the glazed ham into the rack part of the roasting pan.
- Cover the roasting pan with tin foil, with a small gap between the sheets for ventilation.
- Bake the ham until it reaches 135 degrees, then remove the tin foil and baste the ham with juices from the pan.
- Return to the oven until the ham reaches 140 degrees; Ham will cook at 15 min per pound.
- Baste the ham again after removing it from the oven. Let the ham rest for 10–15 minutes before carving.
Notes
- This recipe does not include pineapple.
