Description

Baked Feta is a simple appetizer made with feta cheese, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes.


Ingredients

  • 8-ounce block feta
  • 1 cup pitted olives, drained
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • fresh chopped parsley
  • sliced French bread or crostini

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Add an 8-ounce block of feta to a small baking dish.
  3. Add 1 cup olives and 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes to the baking dish around the feta.
  4. In a small dish combine 1/3 cup olive oil, 3 cloves sliced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, and a couple pinches of salt and pepper.
  5. Pour over the block of feta, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes. Broil for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and crispy crostini.
