- 2 puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 4 cups fresh spinach, chopped and sautéed
- 3/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish or sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix sautéed spinach, cream cheese, feta, garlic, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Unroll puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Spread the spinach filling evenly, leaving a ½-inch border.
- Roll up tightly like a jelly roll and slice into 1½-inch rounds.
- Place rolls cut-side up in the baking dish. Brush tops with egg wash.
- Sprinkle with parmesan and poppy seeds. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm. Garnish with extra cheese or herbs if desired.
