Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are fully coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9 inch square dish or a similar-sized serving dish to form an even layer.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- Layer half of the sliced strawberries over the graham cracker crust.
- Spoon half of the strawberry cream filling over the strawberries, spreading it evenly.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining strawberries and the rest of the cream filling.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the dessert to set.
- Before serving, garnish with additional fresh strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
