Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mixture
  2. In a food processor, add the walnuts (or almonds) and pulse until finely chopped.
  3. Add the pitted dates, cocoa powder, almond butter, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor. Blend until the mixture is well combined and sticky. If the mixture is too dry, add a few drops of water or more almond butter.
  4. Using your hands, scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  5. If desired, roll the brownie bites in shredded coconut, crushed nuts, or chocolate chips for added texture and flavor.
  6. Place the brownie bites in an airtight container and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up. This step is optional but helps them hold their shape better.
