Crispy Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings that are perfect for snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients

- 1 (12 pack) regular sliced bacon
- 1 large yellow onion
- bbq sauce for serving
Instructions
- Cut the stem off of your onion and remove the outer layer. Cut into rings about ½ inch thick.
- Wrap the bacon around the onion rings, adjusting the number of bacon slices as needed.
- Preheat oven to 400° F and place bacon wrapped onion rings on a foil lined baking sheet. Use a baking rack for crispiness if available. Cook for 15-25 minutes.
- For air fryer, cook at 390° F for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- On the grill, set to medium heat and cook for about 25 minutes, flipping occasionally.
- Brush with BBQ sauce or serve on the side for dipping.
- Enjoy as a snack, side dish, or appetizer. Double the recipe for larger gatherings.
Notes
- Use a baking rack for best results in the oven.
- Make in batches if using an air fryer.
- Wooden skewers may help hold onion rings together on the grill.
