- 1 cup asparagus, chopped
- 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and trim edges.
- Blind bake crust for 10 minutes.
- Spread asparagus and Gruyere cheese evenly over the crust.
- Whisk eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Pour egg mixture over the asparagus and cheese.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
