Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside to be combined later.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in shredded carrots and chopped green onions and cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the vegetables to soften slightly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Pour this sauce into the skillet with the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat everything evenly.
- Pour in the cornstarch slurry and simmer the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the skillet and toss well to combine the noodles with the beef and sauce. Cook for an additional minute to allow the noodles to absorb the flavors.
