Savory Air Fryer Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms – Juicy, Flavorful & Easy


Ingredients

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (60 g)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (50 g)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (50 g)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Gently wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel. Remove the stems and scrape out the gills if desired.
  2. Brush the mushroom caps lightly with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spoon the stuffing mixture into each mushroom cap and press gently so the filling stays in place.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the topping becomes golden.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
