Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Fries: 10 Crispy Delights

Description

Air fryer garlic parmesan fries are crispy and flavorful. They make a perfect side dish or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 600 g potatoes
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 20 g salted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp parmesan (grated, approx 10g)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp parmesan (grated)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer if needed.
  2. Peel your potatoes or wash and dry them if you’re not peeling them.
  3. Cut 600g potatoes into chips roughly 1cm in thickness.
  4. Add the fries to a bowl and drizzle with 1 tbsp sunflower oil. Toss to coat.
  5. Add the fries to the air fryer basket, keeping them in one layer if possible.
  6. Cook at 190°C for 20-25 minutes, gently turning the chips once or twice during the cooking time.
  7. Add 20g unsalted butter and 1 tsp minced garlic to a microwavable bowl. Melt in the microwave for 30 seconds or so.
  8. Add ½ tsp sea salt to the butter and garlic and stir to mix.
  9. Add the fries to a large bowl and tip over the garlic butter.
  10. Add 2 tbsp grated parmesan and toss to coat the fries evenly.
  11. Serve the fries with another 1 tbsp grated parmesan and 1 tbsp fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Use fresh potatoes for the best texture.
  • Adjust garlic and parmesan according to taste.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
